WNR-05 Learning Notes in Drop D

About this worksheet

This worksheet will help your student learn the notes in Drop D tuning. Your student will learn to recognize the notes in both standard notation and Guitar TAB. The worksheet focuses on the sixth string because it's the only string that changes in Drop D tuning. It's a good idea to use WNR-01 first to cover all the notes in Standard Tuning. The answer key provides you with quick answers in case you're not familiar with the tuning.

The best way to use this resource is in combination with the guitar lesson plan TUN-02 Drop D, which provides your student with essential information on Drop D tuning including explanations. Use the lesson plan to explain the tuning then use this worksheet to test your student's understanding.
